1.        Background​

 

Information relating to the IPPC application submitted by Electrogas Malta Ltd., D3 Power Generation Ltd. and Enemalta plc. for the application for the renewal and variation of the IPPC Permit. The installation is located at Triq il-Power Station within the confines of the Local Council of Marsaxlokk.

As per the requirements stipulated in S.L. 549.77 Industrial Emissions (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) Regulations the Environment and Resources Authority is consulting the general public to submit any objections or representations to the above IPPC application.

Any such objections, representations or comments will be entered into a register which will be made public on the Authority’s website, together with details of the objector, unless otherwise requested in writing that they should not be so publicised.  If there is such a request, the register will only include the objections, representations or comments that have been made.

2.        Consultation Questions
 
The Environment and Resources Authority is hereby informing the public that ‘’Electrogas Malta Ltd.’’, ‘’D3 Power Generation Ltd. ‘’ and “Enemalta plc.” have applied to the Environment and Resources Authority for a renewal and variation to the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit IP 0002/07/G in relation to the operation of installation carrying out activity 1.1 (combustion of fuels in installations with a total rated thermal input of 50 MW or more) as per Schedule 1 of S.L. 549.77.  The installation is located at Triq il-Power Station, Delimara.
