1.        Background​


Information relating to the application for renewal and variation of IPPC application submitted by Amino Chemicals Ltd, Marsa Industrial Estate. The installation is located within the confines of the Marsa Local Council.

As per the requirements stipulated in S.L. 549.77 Industrial Emissions (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) Regulations the Environment and Resources Authority is consulting the general public to submit any objections or representations to the above IPPC application.

Any such objections, representations or comments will be entered into a register which will be made public on the Authority’s website, together with details of the objector, unless otherwise requested in writing that they should not be so publicised.  If there is such a request, the register will only include the objections, representations or comments that have been made.

2.        Consultation Questions
The Environment and Resources Authority is hereby informing the public that “Amino Chemicals Ltd.” have applied to the Environment and Resources Authority for the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit IP0005/21 in relation to the relocation of a an emergency diesel engine generator and associated stack, the relocation of a nitrogen generation plant and the exclusion of the A50 warehouse from the site plan.
