Consultation on the revision of the academic qualification syllabuses leading to the authorisations issued in terms of the Electrical Installations Regulations S.L. 545.24.

1.        Background

The Electrical Installations Regulations are the regulations applicable to the required competences of authorised providers to carry out electrical installation works at 230 Volts and 400Volts A.C. and the technical requirements for the safe installation of such electricity conveyance within buildings, factories, places of entertainment, industrial and sports complexes, social and religious places, or any other place where an electrical installation is required, except for some exclusions as defined in the same Regulations.

The Regulator for Energy and Water Services is revising the academic qualification syllabuses leading to the Authorisation A and B. Stakeholders are invited to submit their comments on the proposed syllabuses revision leading to an Authorisation A and Authorisation B.
