1. Background

Following a process of consultation with over 350 individuals and entities the Parliamentary Secretary for Social Accommodation published a white paper seeking to create a fair rental market that works for Malta.

2. Consultation Questions

The proposed measures will only apply to residential tenancies; hence will not impact leases for commercial use, short lets or tourist lets.
